What can clients expect in your class? Clients can expect me to try and make them laugh with corny jokes/sayings! It's my way of trying to make the burn a little better.
What do you want your clients to feel during/after class My goal is for clients to feel safe and empowered enough to challenge themselves in class, pushing their limits to see how far they can go. After class, my hope is that they feel accomplished and happy with how they showed up for themselves. Some days, the most we can do is just show up to class, and I want my clients to know that's already more than enough.
Advice for first-timers - You're trying something new for the first time; this is already such an impressive feat. So, be kind to yourself! It takes repetition to learn and grow in this method.
Bio: Ariel was born and raised in Texas, but has started calling NYC her home after living here 7 years. She was first introduced to the Lagree method in 2022 and was instantly hooked on the method's approach to low-impact, high-intensity training. Ariel joined the Lagree NY community in 2024 as a client and immediately fell in love with the energy and people that make the studio so special. It was because of this community that Ariel felt encouraged and supported to get out of her comfort zone and strive to become an instructor. For Ariel, Lagree is more than a workout - it's how she connects with others, witnesses the transformative power of the method firsthand, and finds her own outlet for movement (because you'll never catch her going for a run).
